30/07/11 Glen Deveron
Glen Deveron tonight, from Macduff distillery. Much of this is used for blending, I’ve never had a malt from either brand before.
This is a 10yo bottle, 40%.
It tastes of…whisky. Odd, I know.
It’s malty, sweet and actually pretty tasty at first but the body is all wrong. It’s flat and thin, the mouthfeel isn’t particularly pleasant and the finish is slightly bitter and a little grain-like. I like grain whisky but I don’t like this much.
1/5, I’m going to finish it though.
