Dallas Dhu closed nearly 30 years ago and was bought by Historic Scotland in 1986 who preserve it as a museum, exactly as it was on the day it closed.
I haven’t been but it’s on my bucket list of must-visit places!
A light dram with some shortbread, dry cereals, floral notes and honey adding depth of flavour to the malt.
Very smooth with a decent, clean and dry finish.
Unremarkable whisky but certainly not bad.
