13/10/11 Caperdonich DT Cask 6712
A new distillery for me tonight: Caperdonich.
This is a 35yo single cask, bottled by Duncan Taylor.
Honey, red apples, dry grain, slightly nutty, sweet oak.
It’s a viscous dram, really chewy. Very long finish but surprisingly dry. Some notes of white grapes on the finish, again surprising.
An intriguing dram from this sadly mothballed distillery.
