14/04/11 Edradour straight from the cask 12yo Barolo Finish
Cask strength this one, heavy viscous spirit and a beautiful dark tangerine-gold colour.
Lovely intense malt, honey, toffee and strawberries on the nose.
Incredibly sweet on the start of the palate, this quickly gives way to heavy spices, mullled wine
With water it opens beautifully to become floral, sweet and gentle.
The finish is slightly short and lacking depth but I’m really enjoying this dram tonight, it’s better than I remember!
