A single cask Glen Scotia tonight , the only expression from this distillery that I’ve ever tried. Interesting in that’s it been matured in a sherry gorda rather than the usual sherry butt, the gorda is significantly larger.
Amazingly rich, powerful and spicy, curiously meaty and very, very sweet. Sherry trifle with strawberries!
Tasing notes mention coffee but I’m struggling with that!
3/5, maybe a little too sweet for my palate…
