Firstly, let me say this: this is real whisky!
100% malted barley, water, yeast (and, I suspect, some caramel…)
Matured in oak for ten years too, just like our home brew. 43% too which I’d nice.
So, what’s different? Well, it’s in a 750ml bottle!
The nose is spirity but still with fruity aromas – red apples
Sugary, some rum notes?
Fudge
Slightly spiced – vanilla, maybe s little ginger?
Loads of oak!
Short finish but pleasant enough.
