A 14yo Oloroso butt, ’96/’10.
Sherry trifle! Lighter and sweeter than many of the sherry butts I’ve reviewed recently. Light brown sugar, sweet damson jam, raspberrys, brambles, blackcurrants, vanilla custard, gingerbread, McCowans highland toffee, sultanas, all-spice.
One of the best Oloroso casks I’ve tried from this distillery. Stunning.
