24/07/11 Glendronach 15yo Revival
Can’t believe I haven’t done a review of this yet! I’m on my 3rd bottle of it this year alone…
Very clean and distinctive Oloroso flavours, sweet dark fruit, christmas pudding, almonds, cherries, some savoury red meat, dark chocolate, dry spices and orange zest.
Superb, very well balanced, very complex, very good value.

So – if you were comparing the 15 and 18 which would you prefer ?
I nearly went for an 18 at the weekend but wasn’t convinced by the finish (as you suggested). However a tiny taste in a shop isn’t always a true reflection.
Hi Peter, I think the 15 probably just pips it, I’m going to have one of each side-by-side, just for you!
